Answer Key & Result Release Information
The official Answer Key for the TET exam was released on 4th February 2025 at 11:30 AM. As per the notification, the results and mark sheets will be made available from 11:00 AM on 23rd June 2025. Candidates can access their individual results, admit cards (for document verification), and mark sheets on the official DSE Assam website.
Document Verification & Admit Cards
Candidates who have been shortlisted for document verification will be able to download a special Admit Card. This document will mention the candidate’s total marks, including weightage marks, and will specify the venue, date, and time for the verification process. It is mandatory for shortlisted candidates to carry all required documents, as specified in the Admit Card, at the time of verification.
All other candidates who are not selected for document verification will still be able to download their Mark Sheet, which will also reflect the total marks including any applicable weightage.
Merit List Criteria & Selection Ratio
The TET cum Recruitment Test 2024 will follow a 1:1 selection ratio for the total number of advertised vacancies. This means that only as many candidates as there are vacancies will be selected initially.
If any vacancies remain unfilled after the release of the first merit list, the DSE may release up to two additional merit lists. These merit lists will be prepared subject-wise, especially for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) posts.
The merit list will be compiled by filtering candidates’ marks from the main result into individual subject-based lists. This ensures fair and subject-specific selection for each teaching post.
